I finally got Shrek Text working for gimp 2.4. Click on one of the shrek-text images to download it. Shrek Text (shrek-text) is a script-fu plugin for Gimp 2.4. To install it under windows put it in your:

C:\Program Files\GIMP-2.0\share\gimp\2.0\scripts

Directory (adjust as appropriate of course) and then choose Xtns...Script-Fu...Refresh Scripts (or just exit and restart Gimp).







Note that I did not create this script, I just modified it so that it will run under Gimp 2.4.
